Leap Day

Leap Day... a day that I have been referring to as "an extra day given to me to do something special for someone special"
Then I got to thinking shouldn't everyday be a leap day for us? Shouldn't I awake everyday and try to do special things for the people that I love, and even for strangers?

So then I thought about the words "A Leap of Faith" maybe I should use this day as a day to be couragous and take a leap at something new...well I feel like I'm in the middle of a leap of faith with going back to school, moving to Mississippi etc... and everyday is a leap of faith.

I wake up everyday and ask God for faith to live everyday to the fullest, and that I am doing what he would have me to do.

So today has become a "remember day" remember to live everyday with faith, and to love others as He loved me.

"I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me." Galatians 2:20

"My command is this: Love each other as I have loved you." John 15:12

"At this my heart pounds and leaps from its place." Job 37:1

Midterms

So I may be out of pocket for a few days I have midterms coming up . Let's see Anatomy Lab test tomorow ( and class til 1:30) History test on Thursd ( & classes) Monday class and study for Tuesday Algebra test, and Anatomy test. well that doesn't seem so bad when you type it all out...

oh yeah I also have kids with activities after school, and dinner and a husband.

Don't think I'm neglecting ya'll. (Not that anyone is reading this but me..well maybe Becky...no pressure) but I'll be back soon.

Hopefully with good grades behind me...until the next week when it starts all over again.

ooooh after Spring Break!! Yipeee! I'm staying home and watching alot of girl movies and tv. Maybe I'll find something interesting to write about....we'll have to wait and see...oh suspense...didn't think I had it in me huh?

Disney World for Christmas '08

So I heard from my parents today that they booked a resort in Orlando for Christmas this year.

I am so excited!! Does anyone have any advice about how to narrow down what to do while in Orlando?

Our list of want to do's is already too long!

Rare Husband Shopping Day

So today we spent the whole day shopping for Hans.

Isn't that strange? He is such a girl when it comes to shopping though..hahaha...

He has to look at everything. We ended up with some great buys...a $300 suit for $123. We finally spent his christmas $ and he got several dress shirts, and a couple of ties, new undies, and new socks. The man is set for a while.

I on the other hand only bought a shirt on sale for $5 at Academy!

I was just thinking how strange it was to have looked back on our Saturday and the fact that I only spent $5 and he spent....?$

But I love him and he's definitely worth it.

Maybe my female troubles are over...

So I have not blogged for a while due to the last minute trip to Texas last weekend. For several years now I have been having "female" trouble, and have been considering my options and had setteled on having a hysterectomy this March. Last Thursday..Valentine's day I received a call from my nurse who said she may have another option that might work better with the scheduling conflicts we were having around spring break......This procedure only cost $20.00 & was done in the office, instead of the $1500.00 hysterectomy done in the hospital....so we scheduled for Monday the 18th b/c the girls were already scheduled to be out of school and I only would miss one class on Monday. SO Friday after school and Hans work we left for Texas...as you may well remember Friday the 15th was a terrible weather-day in Texas. It took us 8 hours and we arrived at 2 am, but thankfully in 1 piece. well 4 pieces.....hahaha. After hanging out with Jared & Amy, Mark & Michelle, and Eric & Desha Saturday night (pics attached) and attending Parkway Sunday morning ( Hi April & Bill I found and saved your blog site)I had the "procedure" Monday at 11....do not remember most of the day Monday. I had alot of drugs in me...and thankfully so. I am doing much better, and have not had any pain meds since Wed am. Just ibuprofen for the constatn cramping.

SO not much else has been going on here in the state of Mississippi, unless you can count school, applying for nursing school shere in MS and in TX. Again I'll keep you "posted".
