This is amazing to me! I received an email with the bible gateway webpage and a list of "emergency numbers" (verses for certain needs) when I clicked the link for leaving on a trip
this is what appeared:
Psalm 121
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
1 I lift up my eyes to the hills—
where does my help come from?
2 My help comes from the LORD,
2 My help comes from the LORD,
the Maker of heaven and earth.
3 He will not let your foot slip—
3 He will not let your foot slip—
he who watches over you will not slumber;
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
4 indeed, he who watches over Israel
will neither slumber nor sleep.
5 The LORD watches over you—
5 The LORD watches over you—
the LORD is your shade at your right hand;
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
6 the sun will not harm you by day,
nor the moon by night.
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
7 The LORD will keep you from all harm—
he will watch over your life;
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
8 the LORD will watch over your coming and going
both now and forevermore.
Then I read my friend Gail's blog regarding a tough day, and the use of this verse.
Across the world God gives us the words we need for every situation.
We are leaving for a weekend trip to Savannah, GA this afternoon. I will write and post pictures hopefully Monday.
I know B just a national traveler aren't I?
But why not visit some places that we would never have the
opportunity to travel to if we were home in TX?
My girls are excitied about going to yet another state they have never been to!
I hope to meet Paula Deen! We will be eating at "The Lady & Son's". I hope sh's there!!

Oh too jealous of all your adventures!!!
Melody,
Your help does come from Him! So glad that He confirmed this to you through two different places/people today. I hope you tell Paula we miss watching her in Central Asia. Wish she would open a Lady and Son's on this side of the world. Can't wait to see the pics.
