Grades & shopping...

Final grades (3 out of 4 classes) 2 B's and 1 A

So shopping cheers me up! I went and bought my Mother's Day present today...

I got 4 new tires for my truck! Well new to my truck...I so needed them!

So, in my budget I have set aside some $ for me to get myself a little something special once every 2 weeks. Sometimes I save up my "allowance" and get something not so little, yet not big either. But I almost always buy something on sale. For example... 3 weeks ago, Penny's had a buy 1 get the next for 88cents. The girls got some Summer clothes and I spent my $ on 2 cute shirts and a pair of capris. Last week I wore 1 of those cute new shirts and last weeks $15 black pants, to dinner with Honey's boss & coworkers . The pants were on sale for 50% off of course! So this week even though I spent more than my normal amount it was all on sale!

Side note...my husband loves brand new socks! If it were financially reasonable he would never wear the same pair of socks twice...

Well I feel the same way about panties! I love new, pretty panties! I know TMI...

So I went to VS today and bought a new bra and panties and saved like $28!!

I love to tell and hear stories of big savings..(like B's from a few weeks ago)

Bring on the savings brags!!!

I can't wait to see what ya'll got for Mother's Day!

Even though you will not "see" what I got I know you share in my excitment...I'm not so bummed about the B's anymore!

I also found a uniform store with on sale scrubs at the mall...is it too early to buy some scrubs?

Whew...

OK 2 finals down 2 more to go.

A&P I needed 100 to maintain my A in the class....missed 1 (that I know of)

so that would put me at a 89.4 average...hopefully he'll bump me up.

W. History needed a 90 to make an A in the class...

feelin good about this one..I'll have to wait and see.

I'll update ya when I know.

Back to studyin for Micro..WOOOO HOOOO!

I need a 90 to maintain my A in the class!

I guess all of this should be on my Nursing school blog. Is this stuff boring for ya'll? Should I just stick to the family stuff?

Strep and finals

Well the good news is I don't have strep just a bad sore throat. I went and had it checked out today b/c this week last year (finals/Mother's Day) I did have strep throat.
Tomorrow I will spend the day studying for my 2 finals on Thursday, and the one Friday morning. then I have a break until my last final Tuesday morning.
Plenty of time to make all A's and rest right?

Ok so this is either sad or a good thing...

I don't have anything interesting to post.

I had to revert to Cinco De Mayo

(which they don't even celebrate down in Mexico)

But the trip we took there to celebrate CDM was a blast!

You know us Hammonds...

any reason to go to the beach and vacation with our friends.

Maybe next year it will be Happy October 2nd who knows....

The meal I had at Paula Deens a little of everything PD's fried chicken, bbq ribs, mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes,and def peach cobbler for dessert and may a little chocolate cake. Oh and a strawberry milkshake and a glass of Lewis sweet tea to washit all down!

what kind of car would you drive? Decked out Ford Edge, VW Bug convertible if I was not hauling kids around

what charity would you donate to? Breast Cancer, MS for Suzanne, Adoption agency in B/CS, and the International Missions.

where would you travel? Everywhere...I want to see and learn about all of God's created places.

where would you live? Lake Austin, or Lake Travis
